We offer Off-Road 4X4 vehicles for self-drive or driven as the means to take us to places and through the roads that otherwise are not accessible. This mode of transport of visiting places that are connected via farm road or feeder road is much different from the ordinary way of being driven as tourists from point to point.
For us, it’s the complete EXPERIENCE that matters, not just the Destination. Pinda Bhutan Travel Blog
Here we take you far off the normal tourist itinerary, in one adventurous thrilling experience. We drive on-farm/feeder roads which are non-tarred trails, uphill crossing mountain-passes with breathtaking scenery and then abrupt downhill drives, taking us through changing scenery of verdant forests to paddy & flower-filled valleys; through alpine forest, open valleys, along the rivers and lakes, lush meadows, rich staircase landscapes, with towering mountain peaks on all sides. Apart from this rich natural beauty, these unique trails take us into the remote places and deep into the rich old traditional culture of Bhutan. Visiting these traditional villages, ancient monasteries and temples are highlights that are not usually included in the normal tourist packages and can hardly be reached in any other way than using 4X4. Mountain Biking in Bhutan is incipient, and being picked up very fast as one of the MUST DO ACTIVITY. Biking in Bhutan takes the trails, which used to be an ancient walking and the mule-trading path that is now just being re-discovered.
Having taken these trails ourselves, we found that these trails are often found on mountainous topography and, each single trails can have drops from 3,492 meters (Jele Dzong) and above sheer 2,000 meters in less than 15 – 20km of a single trail, through the dense forests, over high passes of the gigantic mountains and gorge.
